MRI Services Arizona

An MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) scan is a medical imaging technique that uses a powerful 3 Tesla MRI machine to produce highly detailed images of the inside of your body. You might need an MRI to diagnose various medical conditions, such as injuries, tumors, or neurological disorders, with exceptional precision.

Your MRI exam may take as little as 15 to 30 minutes depending on the type and number of exam(s). You may have more than one scan scheduled for the same day or back-to-back in some cases.

At Premier Mountain Imaging Center, we understand the anxiety that can accompany an MRI scan, especially for those with claustrophobia. Our specially trained technologists strive to provide comfort, offering the option to perform some exams feet first, wet towels for the eyes, ear protection and headphones for music to help patients relax. We feature the advanced 3T Verio Magnet with a wide bore scanner, reducing the enclosed feeling and providing quick, detailed scans. We are dedicated to ensuring a comfortable and positive experience during your scan.

Yes, at Premier Mountain Imaging Center, we require a referral also called an order to schedule any exam. Our commitment is to provide precise and detailed imaging crucial to meet both your needs as well as your provider’s needs. Your care and timely access to high-quality imaging is our top priority.

Preparation for your MRI will depend on the specific type of scan you’re having. Generally, it’s best to wear metal-free clothing and remove all metal objects, including jewelry, before the procedure. Upon arrival, we’ll ask you to change into provided metal-free clothing, such as a gown or shorts, and secure your personal belongings, including electronic devices, in our lockers since they cannot accompany you into the exam room.

Results from your exam are typically available within 24-48 hours. We strive to provide timely reports. Additionally, we offer same or next-day appointments for your convenience (dependent on insurance requirements).

Yes, you can request a copy of your images and reports.  You can fill out the records request attached under “FORMS” (Can you make a fillable request, that would email to us or something?) or contact our clinic staff, and they will guide you through the process of obtaining your records.
